Autumn in northern Kazakhstan is a beautiful sight to behold. Marsh land that was active with life is going dormant for the long winter months.

Wheat waving in the wind stretches for mile after mile across the Steppe dotted here and there by colorful groups of trees. The Aspen and Birch bringing forth their different shades of gold mingle in among the constant green of the pine.

It's harvest time and combines are cutting large swaths of wheat which will provide bread not only for the people of Kazakhstan, but for many other countries who rely on this year's harvest, which is reported to be three times larger than last year's harvest! In contrast to the large machinery, one couple brings in hand cut hay from the field as it has been done for generations!

Sheep graze in the warmth of the sun next to the beautiful scenery of Borovoye. The blue of Borovoye lake sets off the trees as the Autumn sun prepares to set. This is a wonderful time of year in Kazakhstan.

Many give thanks to the One who provides for every need. One day, perhaps many more will do the same!
